Approximately 98% of residents consented to be vaccinated and have now received their second dose. This number is well above the 75% required for what is called “herd immunity,” and this mitigates the possibility of any outbreak at Cedarwood. Residents and staff are still following provincial health recommendations as a precautionary measure—so although it’s still behind a mask—our residents can now breathe a little easier knowing that their community is safe from coronavirus.
